Public Transit FAQs
Free parking is available at Angle Lake, Tukwila International Boulevard and Northgate stations. We recommend getting off at SODO, International District/Chinatown Station, or Pioneer Square station for a short walk to Lumen Field.
The Transit GO Ticket App or pre-loaded ORCA card is the ideal option for skipping lines at the ticket vending machines located at all Link Light Rail stations. Download the Transit GO Ticket App and purchase a Day Pass ahead of the event you are attending. Don't forget to activate your ticket before getting on the train and show your screen to the fare enforcement officer if asked. If using an ORCA card, remember to tap on and off with your card when you get on and off. Day Passes may also be purchased at your originating station.
Tips for using Sound Transit:
- ORCA is the easiest way to pay, if you don't have an ORCA card get one (locations you can purchase an ORCA card) and load with $$$ at the station or a retail location
-The Transit GO Ticket app (download at the app store) is a good backup ifyou don’t have an ORCA card
- Plan your trip with Sound Transit
- Follow Sound Transit on Twitter for the most up-to-date rider info/alerts
- Trains and buses can be crowded on game day so make sure to go early and pack your patience.
5 Seattle Transit Safety Tips:
1) Look Both Ways!
2) Headphones off, screens down
3) Take crosswalks, not shortcuts
4) Stay behind the yellow line
5) Bike smart, ride safe (cross tracks at 90 degrees)
Please always consult the schedule for the designated route of the public transit option(s) you're planning to utilize on Event day. Schedules, timetables, and route run-times may vary depending on the day of the week. When in doubt, plan ahead!
Lumen Field does not subsidize public transit at this time.
Lumen Field does not offer its own shuttle services and encourages fans to use King CountyMetro, Sound Transit, and other modes of public transportation to get to and from gameday and other Lumen Field events.
